Mont Saint-Michel

Mont Saint-Michel is a majestic abbey located on an island-rock that has been enclosing a micro-city within its walls since 709. This medieval village, surrounded by water when the tide is in, is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to visit, with staggeringly beautiful construction, architecture, and surrounding shops.
